Christmas at the Old Church
Beginning in 2011, I was commissioned by Portland pianist, composer and philanthropist Michael Allen Harrison to write and perform poetry to open his annual Christmas at the Old Church shows. The collaboration was magical with Michael’s instrumental accompaniment to my spoken word performances. And over the course of three years the following poems were experienced live by over fifteen thousand concertgoers.
